PHEBE Granderson, MSN APRn-CNM

Phebe Granderson graduated from Cox College of Nursing in Springfield, Missouri in 1999, and has worked in labor and delivery and women’s healthcare for over 10 years.  Phebe earned her Master's of Nursing in midwifery in March 2019 from Frontier Nursing University, is certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board and holds an Advanced Practice Registered Nursing License to practice midwifery. She has attended births in the out-of-hospital setting for over four years and maintains certification in neonatal resuscitation. She is also pursuing certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Phebe’s desire to be a midwife grew out of her experiences growing up in Asia.  She has had the privilege of caring for women and babies in a variety of cultural settings over the years and has seen firsthand that childbirth has a profound effect on women from every background.  Her experiences working in labor and delivery and childbirth education led her to advocate for a more woman-centered, holistic, and empowering childbirth experience for the women in her care.

Phebe has 4 children, and in her free time she enjoys seeing new places, enjoying Broadway musicals, and spending time with family.

Candice Killeen, APRN-CNM

Candice is a NWA native, where she was a member of the Springdale High School Medical Academy. She met her husband and moved to Massachusetts where she obtained a bachelors in Medical Sciences; graduating magna cum laude from Bay Path University. She continued her education to complete a nursing degree with maternal and neonatal honors, and graduated from Baystate Midwifery Education Program with a master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery.

While in graduate school, she had extensive training and experience in gynecology and low and high-risk births. She had her first birth at home and loves working with first-time parents. Candice has a passion for practicing holistically with a goal for finding root causes.

When she isn’t catching babies or seeing clients in the office, you can find her “catching” lambs or gardening on her family’s hobby farm, spending time on Beaver Lake, or enjoying the parks and trails of NWA.
