Cassie Sistoso is a writer currently living in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She earned her B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University in Recording Industry Sciences in 2023, and progressed into research and advocacy through a graduate certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies and a master’s degree in Sociology and Applied Social Research. She also is a Sewanee School of Letters student, and will complete her master’s of fine arts in Spring 2027.

Cassie is an avid researcher, visual and graphic artist, and an activist for feminism, LGBTQ+ communities, and other social/systemic inequalities. In her free time, she enjoys reading and snuggling with her two cats Taro and Tuna.
