The foundation of Midwifery is built around being "with women. These roots were sewed in me when I was 10 years old and my sister was born. It opened my eyes to the breathtaking experience and bond of caring for women. When I began nursing school at 18, I proudly shared with everyone who would listen "someday I will be a home birth midwife". Through many twists and turns in life over the past 11 years, I have had the opportunity to work with the elderly, provide home health care for infants with tracheostomies, and most recently as a labor and delivery nurse. I moved through LPN, RN, BSN and finally have reached my goal of home birth Nurse-Midwife! I will be graduating from Frontier Nursing University this summer and could not be more eleated to come back to my home state of Arkansas and work for Eden Birth and Wellness. In my spare time, I am an avid backpacker and have hiked over 5,000 miles all over the country since 2021!
