Allison has been working with mothers and babies since 2019. Beginning with work as a nurse tech on an OB floor while finishing nursing school, Allison continued on that path after graduation training as a postpartum, transition, and Level II/III NICU RN. Only a year after graduating nursing school, Allison moved out west and enjoyed a few years in the mountains while simultaneously learning from larger medical facilities including a Level IV NICU and then a busy high risk labor and delivery unit. Weaved throughout that time, Allison became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and has experience caring for patients at home in that capacity. Being back in Arkansas and close to family, Allison is working as a birth nurse both in and out of hospital. Realizing she wanted to learn more, Allison is in graduate school with the goal of becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife.
