Chantel has been working with birthing mothers since 2001. She started as a doula, then became an RN in 2010 and has worked in a wide variety of settings since then, including a perineal rural hospital, birth center, and home birth practice. Chantel has been married to 33 years to her husband, Vern, and has 4 grown children, 2 grandchildren, 4 cats, and 3 dogs. She loves to garden, crochet, and spend lots of time outside.
